Have you seen the Disney movie, Frozen?

I’ve had many friends tell me that we should go see it, with or without children so we bought it on Apple TV the other day. Frozen is a story of 2 sisters, and there is an underlying theme of rejection and isolation.

Elsa (the older sister) had hurt her younger sister Anna. As a result of this accident, she put up walls of isolation to protect her sister, and ultimately protect herself. She lived in a place of isolation and complacency. Anna experienced horrible rejection from Elsa, but she didn’t know why.…

What will people think of me“??? Struggle with the disease to please?

Listen to this brief video message then read below the video for more=>

*NOTE: The video may be more business specific, but the blog text below it will bless anyone that is wanting to learn and grow in this area!

Let’s face it–in our business we face a LOT of rejection–people telling us “no”, people who leave the business, people who have opinions about the business, and some people may not celebrate our success or support our excitement along the way!

How we respond to opposition affects our outcome.…

Vision Boards and Setting Goals For MLM Success, Networking Marketing and Direct Selling Success

What  you see is what you believe— put your goals before your eyes, secure it in your mind, and move forward toward the victory today!

I coach my leaders to create visual reminders while goal setting. I have a goal board for all of the things in my life I’m working toward and all of the things I’m praying for. You can create a constant visual reminder by taking a snapshot of what you’re working toward, or who you’re working for, and put it on a goal board.…

Leading In The Midst Of Crisis- Leadership Lessons Of September 11

I will never forget the day I heard about the attacks on 9.11. I was in college, taking a nap, and my mother Kris came bursting into the room with tears: “Wake up, our nation is under attack”. That was a day that none of us will forget, and our lives were forever changed.

This unexpected, unimaginable tragedy brought conflict and pain to the lives of many. Through time, it also brought us closer together as a nation. What was intended to derail us completely actually unified us and made us stronger together.…

I’m getting extremely excited for the upcoming edition of Networking Times Magazine (our profession’s leading publication for Network Marketing Professionals). It will be talking about network marketers as social entrepreneurs!

Sir Richard Branson says as social entrepreneurs “We are stimulated by the desire to ensure business has a purpose beyond profit, also focusing upon people and the planet.” I believe many network marketing professionals and companies fit this description perfectly.

When I began my network marketing career, I was a kindergarten teacher who made an impact on the lives of the children in my classroom, but always had a dream of influencing many children’s lives around the world.…

I spent time today reflecting on the life a man that totally changed my life– the late Christian Diaz, who was a mentor, father-figure and very close friend of mine.

Christian was a mentor to many in the network marketing profession. He was known for speaking words of life (like “you are exceptional and bound for greatness”), and his love spoke life into the leaders he influenced. He was also an amazing artist too (check out “The Offering”–which is proudly displayed in my home)=>

Often times we get caught up struggling and striving for the world’s version of “success” and “significance”…and we forget that success comes from the significant impact we make on our home, and those that we love and lead.…

Every Monday morning at 11 am ET I host a Power to Prosper Prayer Call => prayer for people in the market place who want to power up their business, and their results! (You’re always welcome to listen in live on Mondays at 11 am ET: Dial: (712)432-0075 code: 511478#)

“Interestingly” for the first time in years, our call had audio issues, and the lines dropped twice. When I face this type of resistance, I don’t view it as a sign to back down–resistance causes me to “ramp up” as I know victory is ahead. So I wanted to share an abbreviated version of today’s talk with you on RESPONDING versus REACTING…

We all have a choice to remain rooted and grounded in our responding…

When we get that text that starts our day off wrong; when we get that call that totally ticks us off; when we get that email that grates our last nerve; when we have someone come against us wrongfully; we have a choice to REACT or we can choose to RESPOND.…

As my good friend Barbie Bassett says: “There is a vast difference between wanting to and willingness.”

I worked very hard to live a life that I love–I was willing to “do whatever it takes” to build the life of fun and freedom for my family that we wanted! My motto has always been: “I can do anything for a short period of time to provide the time and financial freedom my family deserves.”

When I started my network marketing business I had a full time teaching career, was supporting my husband’s business, was active in my church and community, and was taking college credits on top of that.

Remember that feeling of excitement and expectancy when you started something new?

When the “newness” wears off, and times get tough we have to recall those feelings and remember why we started in the first place…

We all have a mission in life–whether it be in our marriage, our ministry, our families, our business or our career. We all have people that are depending on us to be effective and to cast a vision for them to reach their full potential in life. What if we quit, or operate at less than our best because we have a disappointment we allow to derail us???…

You are stronger than you think, braver than you can imagine & can do anything you put your mind to!

I’m starting a healthy eating and exercise regimen. Although I always ate very healthy, and worked out regularly, I’ve decided to kick it up a notch!

I’m already feeling so much better, and starting to see early results. I thought–gosh, why didn’t I do this before? I realized–I wasn’t ready. Although I WISHED to be healthy and fit and I WANTED it badly, I wasn’t ready to do the extra WORK it would require to get to my goals

I had to map out a plan, really research and implement what I learn, and sacrifice other things (convenience, comfort, etc.)…
