Handling Objections in Network Marketing, Direct Sales, and MLM

As the #1 earner of my network marketing company, I am often times asked how to handle the “dreaded objections” that come up during the prospecting process in business. First of all let me say–much of their response is determined by how WE respond. The ABILITY to respond is our RESPONSIBILITY. I am not offended by objections at all–as it usually means the prospect is considering the opportunity enough to not blow me off, and ask me some questions.

Never get on the defense, and always validate your prospects concerns and question: I like to answer questions and handle objections by sharing stories of people they can relate to whenever possible.…

I’m starting a healthy eating and exercise regimen. Although I always ate very healthy, and worked out regularly, I’ve decided to kick it up a notch!

I’m already feeling so much better, and starting to see early results. I thought–gosh, why didn’t I do this before? I realized–I wasn’t ready. Although I WISHED to be healthy and fit and I WANTED it badly, I wasn’t ready to do the extra WORK it would require to get to my goals

I had to map out a plan, really research and implement what I learn, and sacrifice other things (convenience, comfort, etc.)…

What is prospecting? Webster’s Dictionary defines it as looking for GOLD.

Prospecting is the process of talking to people, in hopes that you will find some who are interested in joining you on your products or in your business. In the process of these conversations, you’ll “sift through” a lot of people to find a few who will join you. Then, you’ll have a lot of people join you, of whom will work at varying paces. Keep in mind, it only takes a few power partners to change your life! That’s your “gold”! Remember–you may have to talk to a lot to find those few, like sifting for gold.…

“To run fast, run by yourself. To run far, run with others” -African proverb

Currently, I lead tens of thousands of entrepreneurs myself, so I am often times asked to share my best leadership tips. I decided to put some thought behind my response, and share them all with you! Here  are my Top Ten “E’s” To Become an Empowering Entrepreneur:

1) Eighty-six the ego. In business there can be a lot of ego. We can also experience a lot of rejection. Humility is the ability to not be moved by flattery or by criticism. Remember- confidence and humility are not in conflict with each other, you CAN have BOTH at the same time!…

On this first day of February, the month of LOVE…I’ve been thinking a lot about leadership, and the power of LOVE.

What’s LOVE Got To Do With It? LOVE Is Everything…

If you’ve been given INFLUENCE in any measure, you have a great responsibility. You may be the only example of LOVE and LIGHT that people see.

Is there someone in business that’s tested your patience? Has someone done something to grate your nerves? Has someone said something or come against you in a way that you feel the need to defend, and “get even”, or perhaps even call to other’s attention your innocence, and their “wrong doing”?…

Hey there Rock Stars, Sarah “Rockin” Robbins here–

Network marketing truly ROCKS! It’s one of the smartest forms of distribution, where it cuts out the middleman, overhead, employees, and a brick and mortar building–and allows us as distributors to leverage strong brands and promote powerful products, and potentially earn a really lucrative income!

Developing a rockin customer base is essential in our profession. It’s a great way to earn upfront money, and of course, residual income as your customers reorder from you. Customers also make the best “evangelists” for the product, often times telling others about their results–and referring people on!…

It’s January 21, and we are officially 3 weeks in to the New Year…how are those business goals coming along?

In order to stay fully connected and committed to our business, we must focus on our vision, or reason WHY before we can focus on the HOW!

Successful people always focus on the end results, while others get stuck on how they will get there. One of the most important exercises you can do as you begin your business is to identify your “Reason Why”. Ask yourself: What is driving you emotionally to develop a successful business?

Your “why” is your long term vision for success.…

Network marketing is one of the smartest business models on the planet! It is a model where it takes ordinary people like me  and helps them to achieve extraordinary results! Where else could a formerly shy teacher in her 20’s compress a 30-50 year career into 3-5 years and elevate to success that others only dream of—and most people can’t even conceive! I’ve fallen head over heels in love with our profession, and if I had to recreate my wealth all over again, I’d do it in network marketing!

Here’s why I am in love:

This is a brilliant business model where instead of investing in advertising and celebrity endorsement, companies invests in us, and our success.…

I recently wrote an article in Networking Times, our profession’s leading publication! I wanted to share more with you on a hot topic in our profession: the power of your “list” (your greatest asset in this business!)

In network marketing, your list is your life!

When I get a new distributor off to a fast start we focus on 2 main things: launching their business, and their building & contacting their list! I coach my team to start with a big list, by going through phone contacts, Facebook friends, and by reviewing a company memory jogger list. I also trigger their memory by coaching them to go through old yearbooks, phone books, and invitation lists!…
